Trip to Mysore on Tour bus: Note: If I were you, I wouldn’t read such a lengthy story. I just posted because there are several friends wanted me to post the complete experience. Took a detailed story. Some may feel boring to read. For them am sharing few pics in this post. Please don’t share or copy. Comments, compliments most welcome
Why tour bus? Have been dressing from ages (first outing probably in 2000 with Radha in Villupuram) and I have done countless outings. Now outings are just part of the game 🙂, though its fun, but no excitement. I decided to make a wish list what all to do in dress and fulfil them. Dress up with real girl, dress and go to office party, using ladies restroom…..etc. One of my wish was to go in a tourist bus. Tourist bus is actually a place where u get to see strangers and we keep seeing them again and again when u visit places and come back to bus. This is like a feel I wanted to see how people will react when they see me again and again. When normally any one passes you by they only see you once they don’t come across multiple times.
Planning the tour Searched options of tourist bus trips from Bangalore, found a one day trip to Mysore. Decided to take this bus. All set, but thought its too much of adventure if I go alone and need some one help in case of any situations. One of my good CD friend Gowri accepted that she will accompany in male 😊 . Booked tickets for Saturday. My friend pickup at his place was 7:20, mine was 7:10 at a different place. I decided to wear saree and change to Kurthi some where in middle at any restroom. So if you want to wear saree, am sure I have to wakeup too early and do all make up and ready. Getting ready All night didn’t much sleep. Started shaving at 4AM, makeup done. Draping saree went in multiple failures ☹ and killed lot of time. Time 6:30, to reach my bus pickup it takes minimum 15 minutes. Was so frustrated and started feeling I may miss my bus. Thought of changing it to Kurthi but some way managed to finish saree draping and rushed outside of the house. Its damn early in the morning, that main parking gate also wasn’t opened by the maintenance guy. Have to open maintenance gate and was almost like sweating and running. As it’s a transparent saree don’t wanted to show off very early in the morning, wore a sweater. Tried uber, its too much delayed. Boarding the bus Got street side auto and reached bus pickup point. Bus exactly came when I reached. I was entering the bus , conductor asked me , mam its mysore Tour bus and your seat number. I whispered yes and seat 15. 😊 . Ok, no further questions, entered bus. A lady with saree was already on my seat, I told her mam, its my seat and she said oh ok. I took the window seat, the same lady again sat beside me thinking that seat is free. I understood she is telugu, but I told her in Kannada that one of my other friends will come into this seat at next stop. She didn’t get it as she cant understand Kannada and more over I was almost whispering to avoid getting caught of male voice. Continued the journey to the next stop where my friend was supposed to be picked. As I gave my own number to both the seats, conductor kept calling my number, and a lady is sitting beside me . Attended the call and replied in a low voice, am already onboarded another friend will join at next stop. My friend joined the bus and we continued to the tour.
Tour Had breakfast at a restaurant (Time 8:30 AM). Went into ladies rest room and got wig fixed properly once again. Actual tour started and there was a local guide on the bus who kept narrating about the places we are visting. Boarded down and boarded bus again and again at multiple places(Fort, Srirangapatnam temple, Church). Now people got used with faces. I was liking the feel that no one doesn’t know that am a boy in dress. Things looked quite normal for everyone, this is the feel which I was expecting and this kept me exited continuedly. Wherever you go you are called madam. Enough with saree adventure, I wanted to change to other dress. Bus got stopped at a novelty store which sells all local made garments, gifts and more(Time 2PM). Checked with the guide where is the restroom, he took me to the corner and shown a the toilet. That’s a worse toilet for women. I felt I have no further options. I went into the toilet and removed saree and wore a kurthi. I removed the wig and wanted to fix it again with new stickers. Its hell suffocated and I was sweating a lot. Opened the door for a while to get some air. Conductor of the bus just saw me with out wig, ha haa ha. I closed the door immediately and just thought OMG!! What to do. Thought its ok , who cares, he just saw a second , he might not got me completely. I continued fixing wig and came out. I just came out and boarded bus as usual, conductor didn’t say a word. Probably he didn’t get me properly. Got some eyes as I changed from saree to kurthi 😊 that’s definitely weird thing to do on a oneday tour. I felt who cares. I just want to have fun as much as possible. A young girl kept watching me everytime I apply compac and lipstick. Seems she was sort of curious and got confused what I am 😊. I kept smiling whenever she saw me. Had lunch at a restaurant (Time 2:20 PM), again used ladies restroom and continued few other tourist spots. None had any concerns no staring eyes. I am sure no one had any clue of me being a man in dress. Yes , Yes I like the feeling 😊 Headed to Chamundi hills (Time 5:30 PM), but only 40 minutes was allotted for the temple visit. There was a huge crowd, wanted to relax a bit. Didn’t go into temple. Later headed to Brindhavan garden, its already sun has set and time allotted is 1 hour. By this time every one are already exhausted in the bus and I started feeling over exhausted and don’t wanted go into Brindavan. Me and my friend kept walking around and having the fresh air. A old lady who is selling home made snacks approached us and started talking English “I am a school teacher buy this and help me” . I said no mam, we don’t need it, gave a 10 Rs and said thanks. That lady said your voice sounds male are you MANGA. Oops I was too much louder while I spoke to her, I normally take care of speaking in low voice to avoid getting caught. This made me realise that am in subconscious state where I totally forget am wearing a dress. Told her no am female , am having thought problem, anyways she left the spot and she said sorry madam. Me and my friend laughed aloud and said ourselves “DAMN we got caught”. Anyways its was fun. Had dinner on the small cart vendor at Brindhavan and boarded the bus. Bus again stopped at another restaurant for dinner. Its already 9PM, feeling damn sleepy. Wanted to change to regular wig and remove the Sticking fuss. All the tourists went for dinner , only 2 ladies and a kid were in the bus. Went to back seat of the bus and changed it to other wig which is more comfortable. No energy left waiting for the bus to reach Bangalore and wanted to hit the bed. Slept for almost 2 hours in the bus, suddenly my friend woke me up. I woke up and saw myself in dress , Laughed at myself and again thought am again in subsconcious state not realiising that am wearing dress and I have take care of few things. My friend said, his stop is approaching and he will get down in 10 mins. Its heavily raining outside. I told my friend, keep the phone ready, if I get into any situation I will call for help. I got dropped at JC road and quickly an autowala came and I got into it with out any bargaining. I told Autowala to take me to Adugodi Police station. Autowala dictated same on his google phone and started navigating accordingly to the map. I was not aware of the routes and its heavily heavily raining and I kept waiting for the destination. Told autowala to stop at any ATM to get some cash. He said your destination is here, I was totally lost. He took me to ChamrajPet policestation. DAMN IT . I lost my cool and said I told Adugodi police station. Autowala said yes mam, I said same but google navigated to Chamrajpet. This is ridiculous google. Autowala said extremely sorry mam and told to type the address in his phone . Now headed to the the actual destination. Once reached , it was still heavily raining, main gate of the house is locked to open it I need to standing in rain. Lock was not opening, I told autowala wait for a while till I open and get into the house. He said ok and waited for me to open the gate and finally he left once I got into the house. I paid him and was really happy with his helping attitude and he apologized multiple times, sorry madam, due to my mistake you have to go through this. Am sorry. I said no worries and paid him. Conclusion: It was exiting experience and memorable. Definitely once a while any one CD try. Going to mall, temple is just a regular activity. I love to come across the same people again and again and see me and finally not getting caught as a CD. Selection of Mysore one day trip was worse idea, coz most of the time it was just sitting in bus and traveling. Less tourist places to visit and 90% of time sitting in bus. I would say avoid this one day Mysore tour bus, get any other simple options. Thanks to my lovely friend Gowri, who is literally strong and bold enough to stand beside me continuously with out any hesitation. Being a CD and doing outing is adventures, but standing beside a CD in male needs balls. Need the courage to face the people in case of situations. Such a lovely company by Gowri made my day and he took several pictures and videos with all patience and never got frustrated 😊 Feel free to comment/compliment 😊 Let me know if there is any similar adventure which you always wanted to do or you have done. I want more adventures in my wish list. Dressing and going out is boring. I need more fun, more adventures. 😊 Coming soon: Go and search for a house to rent. Visited multiple TOLET boards in the colony and interacted multiple house owners/security … Its another different experience. Will post the story in detail soon.
