Today my heart is filled with happiness as I share the launch of my dream project “Femegha” (www.femegha.in), a one-stop online store for crossdressers. This journey has been full of struggles, lessons, and blessings – and on this special day, I want to open up about something very personal that I never shared with even my closest friends before.
I started this dream way back in 2019, just before Corona. Coming from a family with no business background, I had no idea where to begin. Without much research, I ordered a small product from AliExpress – just a softbox. When I saw the message “your order has been shipped”, I felt like, yes, maybe I can really do this! Encouraged, I invested more, buying products worth ₹50,000. I was eagerly waiting for my first big consignment.
But reality hit me hard. When my softbox reached Mumbai, customs duty was almost double the price. Somehow, with the help of a C&F broker, I managed to get it. But my bigger order got stuck at customs because I had no company registration or import license. I lost all that money. It was heartbreaking. By the end of 2020, I almost gave up.
Still, somewhere inside me, I couldn’t let go. Slowly, I kept discussing my idea with some close crossdressing friends, and their encouragement kept the spark alive. Finally, this May, before visiting Gangamma jatara, I decided to start again. I bought a domain, created social media pages for Femegha, printed 200 business cards, and the very first card I offered at the feet of Gangamma Thalli. That moment gave me hope again.
This journey has taught me one thing – you may fail, you may lose, but if you keep trying, one day you will succeed.
With divine blessings, things started falling into place. A friend of mine was bringing a Dubai-based brand to India and introduced me to a CA who helped me register my company and get all the licenses. This time, when I imported products, everything went smoothly. I also learned website designing by myself and did the product photoshoot and editing. After almost five years of waiting, mistakes, and learning, Femegha is finally here.
Many of you know me through my other websites – meghanadixit.com and cdstories.in – and have always supported me with so much love. Femegha is not about making money; I already have a good job with God’s grace. My only intention is to bring something useful and authentic for our community.
I am starting with premium imported wigs and skincare products from my friend’s brand Svorasti (www.svorasti.in ), which I personally use and love. Slowly, I will add breast forms, makeup kits, and more crossdressing essentials. Yes, the products may seem a little expensive because of import costs, but I promise they are of the highest quality.
This journey has taught me one thing – you may fail, you may lose, but if you keep trying, one day you will succeed.

I was dreaming about the curves I got using those breast forms through out my life. It is really a game changer for me and I feel that I am a new person all together.
