Rainbowprompts: The Triumph of Open Sharing

This blog post, "Rainbowprompts: The Triumph of Open Sharing," summarizes the my strong belief in community over individual gain, particularly in the context of AI art. Inspired by creators who openly share their image prompts—like the my sister, Sowmya Sweeti—and contrasting this with those who gate keep prompts, how i teamed up with Sowmya and Nandini Anand to launch Rainbowprompts.com on November 25th, 2025. This platform is a free, secure space for the community to share AI-generated images and their corresponding prompts, with the goal of protecting the images from being downloaded. The post celebrates the platform's early success, reporting over 140 registered users and 450 unique prompts in just 15 days, and also shares the happy news that their original project, Cdstories.in, has surpassed 10 lakh visits from over 80 countries.

Hello, my wonderful community! I hope you are all having a fantastic time.

Today, I want to talk about something that sits deep in my heart and forms the foundation of everything we do: the immense power of Community, rather than individual contribution. My belief in this principle was turned out to be true once again, and it’s led to something truly special.

The Tale of Two Approaches

Over the past few months, as the AI art wave has swept through social media, I've spent a lot of time scrolling through Facebook pages and was struck by two very different approaches among creators.

On one hand, you have the genuinely talented folks who post their stunning, AI-generated images and, without a second thought, share the exact prompts they used. It's a fantastic, open way of helping others learn and grow with the knowledge they have.

But then, I also noticed the other camp—those who post beautiful images and ask readers to DM them to get the prompt. While I get it—it helps them with traction and maybe gets their profile picked up by the Facebook or Instagram algorithm—the better option will always be the first one. When you share your work freely, people appreciate the generosity, and they will make you popular organically.

Someone who has always embodied this spirit of sharing and giving back is my own sister, Sowmya Sweeti. Her success story is a testament to this community-first approach.

we are already celebrating 140 plus registered users and have seen 450 plus unique prompts submitted by our wonderful sisters!

Building a Secure Space for Open Knowledge

Seeing this gap—the hunger for prompts and the joy of sharing—sparked an idea. Why not create a dedicated platform for our community where anyone can register and share their AI-generated images along with the exact prompts? A place that is completely free and open for all.

But security is always paramount to me. I wanted to ensure that while the knowledge (the prompts) is shared, the images themselves are protected. So, no one should be able to download the generated images from the site.

I quickly discussed this idea with Sowmya and our dear friend Nandini Anand. They instantly agreed to contribute, and from that moment, there was absolutely no looking back! and Rainbowprompts.com was born. We were inspired by the huge success of Cdstories.in and decided to launch our new platform around the time of its first anniversary. Due to some last-minute technical polishing, the launch moved to the next day: November 25th, 2025.

A New Milestone Achieved

Once again, our beautiful community proved that they will always come forward to share the sisterhood and support each other. In just 15 days since our launch of Rainbowprompts.com, we are already celebrating 140 plus registered users and have seen 450 plus unique prompts submitted by our wonderful sisters! The quality and creativity are breathtaking, and it's all thanks to the collective spirit of giving.

And, before I sign off, I have one more happy news to share with you all! Our original passion project, Cdstories.in, has officially crossed the incredible milestone of 10 lakh visits from more than 80 plus countries!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for being the most supportive and loving family a creative blogger could ask for. Your faith in community and sharing is what makes all these dreams a reality.

Stay Creative, Keep Sharing and Happy Dressing!

Yours loving sister,

Meghana Dixit

P.S: Through this blog I would like to thank my community in a big way for their wonderful contributions in the success of this newly launched community website www.rainbowprompts.com
