From Idea to Global Community: One Year of CDStories

When I pause and look back at this journey, my heart fills with emotions I can’t quite put into words. What started as a small corner of the internet for my own thoughts and experiences has today blossomed into a warm, accepting, and ever-growing family. CDStories.in wasn’t just a website I built—it became a reflection of my hopes, my struggles, and my love for this beautiful community. As we complete one unforgettable year, I want to share the story behind it all—the moments that inspired me, the people who touched my heart, and the reasons that kept me going even on the toughest days.

I have always loved reading stories more than writing them. For years, I would search the internet for good reads. Some stories would sweep me away into worlds of pure fantasy, while others felt like a complete waste of time—often because the writer wasn’t fully comfortable with the language. What bothered me even more was that many of these sites were built on free domains and hosting, and worse, they used photos of actresses and random women purely for fantasy purposes. Personally, I found that very uncomfortable, even if others didn’t feel the same.

Thankfully, with the rise of AI, anyone can now generate their own dream images—an absolute game-changer for our community.

Back in 2020, when I started meghanadixit.com, my intention was simply to share my blog posts and a few tips and tricks related to crossdressing. I was inspired by the legendary Radhaa Rani ji, and gradually I felt, “Why not try writing stories?” To my surprise, people genuinely enjoyed them. That gave me confidence, though writing is far more time-consuming than many imagine! Some readers even mixed up my real-life blog posts with my fictional stories.

Everything was going smoothly until one day, a friend asked me to publish her story on my website. I agreed immediately, but when I read her story, I realised it had adult content—something I personally don’t prefer to host. I apologised to her and explained my position. That moment made me reflect: just because I don’t enjoy adult content, it doesn’t mean others shouldn’t. Everyone has their own taste, and our uniqueness is what makes this community beautiful.

Around that time, I came across Sowmya Sweeti’s stories on Facebook. Her writing resonated with me instantly—our storytelling wavelengths just matched. We connected, and in no time became close friends. Then, one day, her Facebook account was hacked and she could no longer share her stories. I felt truly heartbroken for my sister, Sowmya. That pushed me to act. I spent countless late nights and weekends building a dedicated platform for talented writers like her—one where they would have complete freedom to write whatever they wished.

During this journey, Sowmya told me about another website with excellent stories by authors like @Miss, @Genderless, and @Nivedita Nivi. But the content was scattered, with no proper sequence or structure. And since it was a free site, it could disappear anytime if policies changed.

Another challenge I noticed was trust. Many of our community sisters openly share their personal details with foreign platforms, but hesitate when it comes to Indian ones. I fully understand—privacy is the top priority in our community. So I designed the platform accordingly:

  1. No personal information required for registration
  2. Users can choose any unique name as their login
  3. Password recovery through a secret question instead of phone or email
  4. Passwords encrypted so even I cannot view them
With these principles in mind, I created a simple, clean, secure website where writers truly own their stories. No one can copy or steal their content—the system prevents it.
And today, exactly one year later, here our cdstories.in stand:

  • 🌟 95+ lakh site visits
  • 🌟 Loved by readers from 80+ countries
  • 🌟 1900+ registered users
  • 🌟 300+ stories
  • 🌟 600+ comments
  • 🌟 500+ likes

Many people have reached out over email with suggestions, and I promise to work on them soon. Through this platform, I’ve had the privilege of reading amazing stories from writers like @Gvgarima and many wonderful new talents. Their words give me the daily motivation I need to keep this journey going.

I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you for being part of this beautiful adventure.

Thank you for your love, trust, and support.

P.S: Through this post I would like to thank each one of my sisters from the community in helping CDstories.in a global community.
